Each of these original designs (and many more that are not featured here on the site), is meticulously crafted by hand at the Willi NIlli studio in historic downtown Fargo.
Susanne created this collection to inspire touch. The cowhide in each piece hand-manipulated to assume crinkles, ruffles, coiled rosettes, or forced to flow over lumpy objects such as marbles or rings.
The collection features seven silhouettes: a tote bag, shoulder bag with flap closure, trap bag which opens from the top, satchel (with removable shoulder strap), and clutch (with removable wristlet and detachable handle), a cross-body envelope, and mini wallet.
The totes are lined in remnant upholstery fabric, while the clutches, shoulder bags, and satchels, are lined in vintage necktie fabric. Each purse features side panels of double leather, with the interior layer in a color that complements the lining.
